Steven Eckett
Steven joined iLaw in March 2009 and specialises in all aspects of employment law.
Steven qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 and has enjoyed an unusual and varied legal career in both industry and private practice.

Steven has spent most of his career as a specialist in-house employment lawyer with sector-leading businesses, in a variety of different sectors including:
- Engineering, construction, oil and gas, with US-owned group Halliburton
- Waste management, with SITA
- Media and publishing, with Highbury House
- Security and risk management, with Global Strategies Group
This gives a highly practical perspective to his advice, as well as the ability to focus on the issues that really matter to the client, for example while handling an Employment Tribunal claim involving more than 300 claimants.
Steven returned to private practice in 2007 when he joined stevensdrake based near Gatwick as Head of Employment.
Steven has extensive experience in the following:

- Advising on the impact of the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE)
