Rory Jenkins joins iLaw

iLaw has made another senior hire, Rory Jenkins, to boost its dispute resolution and employment offering. Rory joins from niche London litigation practice Oughton Graeme, having qualified at Herbert Smith in 1997.

Rory has a broad range of experience in handling general commercial and contractual disputes, insolvency litigation acting for creditors and debtors, insurance-related disputes, intellectual property, fraud and asset tracing.

He has extensive experience in the Courts, and is well versed in alternative dispute resolution procedures including mediation, arbitration and Early Neutral Evaluation. Rory also advises on contentious employment law issues.

Rory played professional rugby for Harlequins and represented England A. Drawing on that background he is also active in the sponsorship arena, having recently concluded a deal with the British and Irish Lions.

Mark Culbert, head of iLaw’s dispute resolution practice, commented “We have been advising on some excellent cases over the past year, with firms such as Clifford Chance, Taylor Wessing and Pinsent Masons on the other side. Our model allows us to offer clients flexible payment mechanisms that can make dispute resolution more economical, and Rory’s arrival means that we will be able to take more cases on.”

iLaw has now doubled its number of lawyers from the firm's three founders 18 months ago. A key part of iLaw’s business model is that all of its lawyers are at a senior level in order to provide the best advice to clients, while low overheads keep rates down.
