iLaw shortlisted in Lawyer Annual Awards
iLaw is delighted to have been shortlisted for The Lawyer's Annual Awards this year. These awards are recognised as the leading awards in the UK legal profession, and the shortlisted firms are "the strongest performers of 2009".
iLaw was shortlisted for the Award for Niche Firms, which is for firms of up to 20 partners. We believe that this is a fantastic achievement in just our third year of operation. The Niche Firm Award recognises excellence in firms' chosen fields, commercial strength, growth in market share, and innovation.
It has been a tough year for the legal profession in general, with widespread redundancies in almost every traditional law firm. At iLaw, we have consciously adopted a structure which is very different from that of traditional firms. Our innovative model focuses on delivering high quality low cost advice, and is ideally suited to the current climate.
