Rory O'Connor
Rory joined iLaw in 2007. He has exstensive experience as an employment lawyer, having practised for nearly 20 years in a career spanning Bird & Bird (leading its non-contentious and transactional employment team until 1996), as head of employment at Ernst & Young (1996-2002), and as head of employment at leading South East firm Furley Page (2002-2007).
He advises on all day to day operational issues for employers, including: contracts, handbooks and policies; grievance and disciplinary procedures; employment disputes; confidentiality and business protection; variation of terms; redundancies and other dismissals; and compromise agreements.
With the benefit of many years’ practice in commercial, tax and consulting environments, Rory is also highly experienced in the following further areas:
