Rory Jenkins
Rory joined iLaw in 2008 having qualified in 1997 with Herbert Smith. Rory’s focus is on dispute resolution.
He has a broad range of experience in handling general commercial and contractual disputes, insolvency litigation acting for creditors and debtors, insurance, fraud and asset tracing.
He has extensive experience in the Courts, and is well versed in alternative dispute resolution procedures including mediation/ arbitration/ Early Neutral Evaluation to suit the client.
Recent work highlights include acting for a defendant in a 5 week insurance fraud trial involving worldwide freezing injunctions.
Rory also advises on contentious employment law issues.
On the commercial side, he has recently advised in relation to sponsorship agreements with the British & Irish Lions, software licensing and services supply agreements, joint venture agreements and the successful movement of a team of employees from a financial employer to a new start up company.
Rory also has Masters qualifications in insurance law, employment law and international tax law.
He is a rounded character having obtained triple blues in rugby cricket and athletics at Cambridge University, going on to play rugby for Harlequins and England A.
