Full Time Training Contract (September 2024)

iLaw, a premier boutique law firm located in the heart of the City of London, is excited to offer a unique opportunity for aspiring legal professionals. We are now accepting applications for our Full-Time Training Contract, commencing in September 2024. This two-year programme is designed to immerse you in the core areas of law that are critical to our mission and our clients' success: commercial/corporate law, dispute resolution law, and intellectual property and technology law.

The Role:

  • Location: City of London (office-based with flexible work-from-home options)
  • Duration: 2 years
  • Focus Areas: Commercial/Corporate Law, Dispute Resolution Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Law

We Are Looking For:

  • Law students set to graduate in summer 2024, or those who have previously graduated and will complete their LPC by summer 2024.
  • Candidates expected to achieve a 2:1 degree or higher.
  • Individuals who can start in September 2024 and will obtain their SQE1 and SQE2 qualifications during their training contract. (Funding support is available from iLaw)

Your application should include:

  • A CV detailing your GCSEs and A-level qualifications (or equivalent), your law degree (including commencement date, modules studied, and results of year 1 and year 2 assessments/exams), any previous work experience or voluntary work, and your recreational hobbies and interests.
  • A covering letter/email explaining your reasons for choosing a legal career, what inspired you to apply to iLaw, and any other information you wish to include to support your application.

Selected applicants will be invited for an interview, likely via Zoom/Teams.
